Sepia Toning (Bleach + Develop)

This toning chemistry allows you to obtain excellent results with most papers on the market. The toning process allows you to change the original tone of the print and obtain rich sepia tones that vary from brown to yellow. The chemical process underlying the color change is a sulfuration that if it occurs completely allows you to increase the degree of conservation of the print making it less subject to environmental deterioration and the passage of time. The toning process is divided into: Complete toning (Sulfurization) for conservative reasons. This process requires a concentrated bleaching that will completely eliminate the original image. The toning bath will have the task of restoring the image completely, obtaining a very intense brown/sepia color. Partial toning This process requires a very diluted bleach (1+9 or 1+19) that will partially eliminate the original image starting from the less dense areas (the highlights of the photo). The toning bath will re-develop the image in the parts affected by the bleach returning a partial sepia/yellow coloration while the darker areas will appear like the original print. - Package to make 1 liters which allows you to treat at least 50 prints in 20x25 cm format ( or equivalent surface ). The chemicals are separated in special light-tight hermetic bags. This solution allows you to keep the chemistry inside the bag without any time limit and also reduces waste as the kit is composed in such a way as to fully exploit the potential of the reagents.
